About

I get fucking curious. And I don't stop there.
I'm Maneesh. I've been writing for six years, and honestly, the writing is just one part of what I do.
I'm the kind of person who wants to know WHY.
Why would someone buy this? Why would someone choose you over the other ten brands selling the same thing? What makes someone fall in love with a brand, spend money on it, talk about it, or keep coming back to it?
And no, "because it's good quality" isn't an answer. Everyone says their quality is good.
I want to get into the person's head. Understand what they're looking for, what they give a shit about, what they're fed up with, what they wish existed, and what would make them go, "This is exactly what I want."
That's where I start.
Six years of writing. A lot of asking why.
I've worked across copywriting, content writing, SEO, website content, social media, brand messaging, and content strategy. I've worked with different industries, different businesses, and different kinds of people.
And the one thing I've realised? You can't approach every business the same way.
What makes someone want to buy a property isn't what makes someone walk into a pub, join a gym, get a tattoo, book a surgery, or buy something they've been thinking about for months.
So why the fuck should they all sound the same?
I want to understand the business, the people buying from it, the industry it's in, and the competition it's up against. I want to know what's already being said, what's missing, and what nobody seems to be talking about.
I'll read. I'll research. I'll question. I'll go down rabbit holes. Sometimes one question leads to ten more.
That's just how my brain works.
And when I finally sit down to write, I don't want to give you another version of what everyone else is already saying.
So, what do I actually do?
I help businesses figure out what to say, how to say it, and how to make people care.
Website copy. Landing pages. Brand messaging. SEO content. Social media. Campaigns. Content strategy. Whatever the job is, I want to understand what we're trying to achieve before I start putting words together.
Because getting people to your website is one thing. Getting them to give a shit about what they find there is another.
You can have a great product, a brilliant service, a beautiful website, and a business you've put your heart into. But if your communication doesn't get that across, people might never understand what they're missing.
That's the part I want to fix.
I want to get into the shoes of the person you're selling to. Understand what they're looking for, what they're comparing you with, and what's stopping them from choosing you.
Then we work on the words, the messaging, and the strategy that make your value clear.
Not by making shit up. Not by stuffing your website with fancy words. And definitely not by making you sound like every other business in your industry.
Working with me?
Look, I'm going to ask questions. Probably a lot of them.
I might question something you've been doing for years. I might tell you that a line sounds good but doesn't actually say anything. I might find something about your business that you've been overlooking because you're too close to it.
And I expect you to tell me when you think I'm wrong, too.
I don't want this to be one of those projects where you send a brief, I send a document, and we pretend that's collaboration.
I want to get into the work with you. Understand what you're building, why you're building it, and what you want people to feel when they come across it.
You're bringing your knowledge of the business. I'm bringing my perspective, my research, my questions, and six years of figuring out how to communicate things in ways people actually understand.
Put those together, and we have something to work with.
And outside the brief?
I'm curious about a lot of things. People, psychology, culture, business, music, the internet, the way people behave, the things they say, and the things they don't.
I'll read the comments under a post because I want to know what people actually think, not just what the brand wants me to think they think.
I'll look at the questions people ask, the complaints they repeat, the things they get excited about, and the things they wish someone would address.
There's so much information sitting right in front of us if we're willing to look at it.
I don't want to know just enough to finish an assignment. I want to understand what I'm talking about.
And I think that makes a difference to the work.
Anyway, that's me.
I'm not going to promise that every word I write will change your business overnight. That's bullshit, and you know it.
What I can promise is that I'll give a shit about understanding your business before I start writing about it. I'll question things, look for better ways to approach them, and put real thought into the work instead of reaching for the same old formulas.
I want the stuff we make together to sound like you, connect with the people you're trying to reach, and give them a reason to choose you.
Because at the end of the day, I can write all the clever lines in the world. If they don't mean anything to the person reading them, what's the fucking point?
That's what I'm here to figure out.
